Eric Koreen: ‘Topes lose. 127-125. RJ misses a turn-around jumper after Ben Sheppard plays some great defence. 29/12/8 for Barnes, 23 and 9 for for Barrett. 23/7/5 for Siakam, 21/12/4 for Haliburton. Good night for the Raps’ own pick, bad night for the Pacers pick.

Siakam on matching up with Barnes: “Obviously we know how talented he is. I’m super proud of him… To be out there matched up against him, I know he’s going to compete, he knows I’m going to compete. Yeah, it was great. It’s weird but it was good.” – 10:56 PM
Josh Lewenberg @JLew1050
Siakam on the ovation: “I tried to stay focused on the game as much as I could, but it’s hard… Just genuine love & that means everything. To see that whole section with my jersey, that almost got me right there. I couldn’t really ever dream of that. It means a lot. I’m humbled” pic.twitter.com/WtMj7e2YEr10:50 PM
Michael Grange @michaelgrange
“When everyone was telling me how happy there were for me, I was like, ‘I have to get this win, I can’t lose this game,” – Siakam on wanted to do well back at Scotiabank Arena. – 10:40 PM
Michael Grange @michaelgrange
“That was bad, I slipped …” – Siakam on getting beat by old friend Jakob Poeltl on a spin move. – 10:39 PM
Josh Lewenberg @JLew1050
Siakam on Poeltl’s spin move: “That was bad. I slipped, man. I knew what he was going to do… That was a good spin, though. I’ll give him that.” – 10:36 PM
Eric Koreen @ekoreen
“I tried to stay focused on the game and not think about anything as much as I could. … For me to come in here after eight years, just to see the reception, people just being genuinely happy for me, that was the most important thing.” – Siakam – 10:36 PM

Shorthanded Pacers survive in Toronto 127-125 to enter the All-Star break 31-25.
Siakam scored 23pts in his return, Haliburton had 21/12a and McDermott added 13pts off the bench.
Next: All-Star Weekend in Indy. – 10:01 PM
Michael Grange @michaelgrange
Raptors lose 127-125. Barrett misses look to tie after dribbling down clock in last 10 seconds. Barnes huge with 29-12-8 but had some mistakes down stretch. Barrett with 23-9-3. Siakam has 23-7-5, shaking off sluggish first half. Haliburton 21-12, Nembhard 14-3-5. – 9:59 PM
Vivek Jacob @vivekmjacob
Former players winning in their return to Toronto is a tale as old as time, Pascal Siakam joins a long list. – 9:59 PM
Tony East @TonyREast
Pacers hold on the final possession and survive in Toronto 127-125. They needed that one. They improve to 31-25 with the victory.
23 points and 7 assists for Pascal Siakam. 21 points and 12 assists for Tyrese Haliburton. Everyone contributed for the shorthanded Pacers. – 9:58 PM
Josh Lewenberg @JLew1050
Raptors’ chances of keeping their own pick get a tiny bit better. Pacers pick (which the Raptors own) gets a tiny bit worse. Fun night, entertaining game and a MUCH better effort than what we’ve seen from this team recently. Of course Siakam hits the dagger. – 9:58 PM
Eric Koreen @ekoreen
‘Topes lose. 127-125. RJ misses a turn-around jumper after Ben Sheppard plays some great defence. 29/12/8 for Barnes, 23 and 9 for for Barrett. 23/7/5 for Siakam, 21/12/4 for Haliburton.

Tony East @TonyREast
Huge shot from Siakam in his former home. Three-point Pacers lead with 20.5 seconds left. – 9:52 PM
Eric Koreen @ekoreen
Barnes long 2, Barnes block, but gets no call as he drives hard to rim. Siakam banks one home on other end, and Pacers lead by 3 with 20.5 left. The refs have been an adventure down the stretch. – 9:51 PM
Tony East @TonyREast
How on earth did Siakam bank that in? Tough one over Quickley. – 9:45 PM
Michael Grange @michaelgrange
I don’t think RJ was supposed to leave Haliburton and double Siakam in the corner. – 9:43 PM
Michael Grange @michaelgrange
103-101 after 3Q for Raptors. Barnes with 19/8/7. Barrett with 23. Pacers have six players in double figures already, Siakam with 16-3-5. Haliburton with 16-11-3. Nembhard had a huge 3Q and has 13-2-4. – 9:24 PM
Eric Koreen @ekoreen
Jak with the Spicy Spin on Siakam. He’ll be hearing about that one whilst shotgunning a beer. – 9:07 PM
Josh Lewenberg @JLew1050
The emotions of the evening (and Barnes’ defence) may have gotten to Siakam a bit early. Well, so much for that. After being held to 8 points in the 1st half, he’s scored 7 in the span of 69 seconds to open the 3rd quarter and give Indiana a 2-point lead. – 9:03 PM
Tony East @TonyREast
Siakam with a nice mid-range jumper and the Pacers have their first lead. It’s 77-75. Timeout Raptors. – 9:01 PM
Michael Grange @michaelgrange
Pacers start 3Q on 12-2 run, Siakam with seven points, now lead Toronto 77-75. – 9:01 PM
Doug Smith @SmithRaps
Siakam’s has7 points in about 2 1/2 minutes to start third quarter, Pacers up 2 now – 9:01 PM
Michael Grange @michaelgrange
Entertaining first half. Raps leading Pacers 71-65. Barrett has 17-3-2 while Barnes has 14-6-2. Former Pacer has 12 off the bench for Toronto. Tough first half for Siakam who has 8-3-3 on 2-of-9 shooting. Haliburton has 14&7. Pacers are 9/22 from three. – 8:41 PM
Eric Koreen @ekoreen
Raps up 71-65 at half. 17 for RJ, 14/6/2 for Barnes, 12 for Brown, 14 and 7 for Haliburton, 8/3/2 for Siakam. – 8:39 PM
Michael Grange @michaelgrange
Jakob didn’t foul Siakam, but he kind of tripped him when he was getting out of his way … does that count?
Siakam has seemed a half-step out of sorts on his drives all night. Timing a little off, I’d say. – 8:30 PM
Tony East @TonyREast
Pacers allowing too much rim pressure, and their deficit reached 10. Starters at back in now, and it’s a 5-0 Indiana run with Siakam about to head to the foul line for the Pacers. – 8:30 PM
Michael Grange @michaelgrange
Kind overlooked in all the Pascal discussion is that it’s a reunion game for Bruce Brown who is playing with a lot of zip against the Pacers, who traded him in the Siakam deal. Brown has let the Raptors bench hear it on a couple of fast break scores. – 8:23 PM
Eric Koreen @ekoreen
Scottie Barnes tried but failed to rip the ball out of Pascal Siakam’s hands. Metaphor!
(Just joking. Relax.) – 8:16 PM
Michael Grange @michaelgrange
35-31 Raptors after 1Q .. seems like McDermott heave at buzzer didn’t count. Very eventful quarter. Siakam has 2 points and 2 assists. Barnes has been excellent with 8 points and ton of energy. Barrett has 12. – 8:12 PM
Josh Lewenberg @JLew1050
Nice bounce back for Barnes and the Raptors. Scottie scored 8 1st-quarter points (more than he had vs San Antonio), and held Siakam to 2 pts and 1-5 FG on the other end. Raptor Killer extraordinaire Doug McDermott beats the buzzer with a 50 footer (!!) to cut Toronto’s lead to 1 – 8:11 PM
Michael Grange @michaelgrange
21-19 Raptors, but Pacers have hit their last three triples, Haliburton with two of them. RJ Barrett with nine for Toronto. Siakam hasn’t scored yet. Looks like Rajakovic is matching his minutes with Barnes. – 7:59 PM

Pascal Siakam was in good spirits at Pacers shoot round this AM as he gets ready to play the Raptors for the first time. He said he enjoyed getting some questions in French again! Siakam said he’s spoken to Barnes about being the face of the franchise. “As a young man, its going to be a lot of ups & downs. He’s just gotta be able to take those waves & as he learns from it he’s going to grow. As long as his head is in the right place, he’s going to be fine” – 12:39 PM

At his post-trade presser, Ujiri acknowledged/apologized for a lack of communication with Siakam last summer. Pascal on that & how his Raptors tenure ended: “I don’t look back, to be honest… This was home for me.
